It's Day 9 of Janowrimo, and FINALLY I am caught up to where I need to be. Not having to work a late shift today helped, I think.

Wednesday's Word Count: 2,839
Total Word Count: 5,751

I only needed 2,747 to catch up; I got caught up in the scene. And, as a plus, I broke the 5k mark!

Going to make a goal chart for Janowrimo (starting with today's total) to make keeping track of where I need to be easier. I found that really helpful for NaNo.

Yaaay for catching up! :)

And yes yes yes to the word count chart. I find it muuuuch easier to write when I have a spreadsheet to be accountable to, seriously. You could also use something like 750words if you prefer it online.

Personally I love the spreadsheet available here (http://svenjaliv.com/2013/01/its-here-word-tracker-for-2013/) -- it's a year-long one but you can easily change it to reflect only certain months. For example, say you're doing 25k for January and then participating in both Camp NaNoWriMos and also November's NaNoWriMo for a year's total of 175k. You'd put that in as your pledge on the summary sheet (ignore the fact that it will divide the total by twelve for now), then go through all the month sheets and change the monthly goal there -- Feb, Mar, May, June, Aug, Sept, Oct, and Dec would have wordcounts of 0, Jan a wc of 25k, and Apr/July/Nov would have 50k.
