Start the INSANITY!!!
This is the first year I've ever heard of NaNoWriMo, and the first year that I'm doing it. Of course, after I signed up, I realized that I'm gone from home/away from a computer for 12 days of the month, but I'm not backing out. I borrowed a clunker-laptop from my bestfriend, and I'm set to go.
I can't WAIT to get started. I've had a plot since June but had lost enthusiasm about writing. This challenge has given me renewed resolve. Until Nov. 1, I'm doing character sketches/storyline development/pre-writing.
My SN on the NaNoWriMo forums is bk_kennedy. I have written a "novel" before, in the guise of an HP fanfic about Harry's parents. I'm actually working on my second novel in that fanfic genre. My first novel took me just under 3 months to complete. It's that which gives me hope for this. I wrote around 120 pages in one month. I can double that! In fandom, my pen name is Phoenix_Song every where except at ff.net, where I am bethany_jean.
