ps. "posh" is an acronym meaning, "port out, starbord home," and was affixed to the steamer trunks of the elite who went on cruise ships in the turn of the last century. they would rent two different staterooms, one on the port (left) side of the boat for the departure half of the trip, and then they would have a starbord (right) cabin for the return leg, to have the best possible view, and would have northern light, which would not infiltrate the cabin as much.
