So...

Anybody else out there having a midnight write-in tonight?

Last year, just for fun, I stayed up late at home and put down a few hundred words as soon as it hit November.

This year, just for fun, I've called a formal write-in for my region to meet up late tonight and bust out some text at a minute past midnight.

How about you?

I have to work the next day, but I am so going to be staying up an extra half hour or so to crunch out some words at 12.01.

I have to admit, this year, I am really nervous that I won't make 50,000.
I am writing non-fiction, I am not sure where I'm going with this book just yet, and I am 7 weeks pregnant. :P
Things might be a little messed up, so I need all the time I can get.

I'm going to run around like a headless chicken all day to finish my work and take a nap so I can stay up tonight. My NaNo group is too busy for a meetup. :(

Yeah -- my NaNo region is meeting at 11, and we're going to have a write-in until 1am or later. ^^ I'm pretty excited -- I did it last year, too, and it worked wonderfully. Of course, last year I had a better grasp of an idea, some concepts, some characters -- ah well. ^^;;

I'd better be in bed by 10pm lol. 5pm-6pm each day is my NaNo time but I expect I'll get up earlier tomorrow and start some as I'm pretty excited about it all :)

We'll see. I really want to stay up late and do it, but... I have work and homework and a life that I plan on keeping up with... but maybe trick-or-treating will last long enough to get me sugar high enough to need to stay up late. ;D

Yup! ^_^ I'll need to take a nap this afternoon to make it, but I want to start right at the first minute in. I just hope my ideas don't all dry up the minute I actually allow myself to start putting words down. Ideas all over the place, and I still don't know where I want to start. Ack!

My best friend and I, being Catholic, are going to Church at 6 am on the first since it's a Holy Day. So we're doing the midnight thing, possibly staying up all night?
