Where are the guards? Are they armed? What does she have? Is she skilled at escaping places?

Could she lure one away with the noise and then fake a senereo to the other. Like walk up to him in a panic that her *insert family member, child, eldarly mother, etc* is out on the street and needs help or that her or someone else needs to go to the hospital. While one's investigating a phantom noise she can get the other to call the hospital or something.

I'm not sure what sort of building you're talking about or the era you're working in.

I'm playing with the messenger gathering small information at a time thing. I feel like there's one scene I should go back and make into a messenger scene but that would be editing so I'm fighting the urge and just forging ahead. I've also decided not to go back and slow the plot down previouslly, that's editing.

I figure as a messenger she can keep her brother on top of things by gathering him parts as well as selivering letters of information to him from areas of the city he normally wouldn't be able to enter. The only thing I'm worried about is the TV show "Dark Angel" was a post apolyptic USA where the main character was a bike messenger but the plot was completly different and my MC being a messenger is too good an idea to give up.
