I'm Krist (or Kristeh on the main site) I'm a Japanese major, musical theater enthusiast and Disneyland Cast Member ♥
As far as the novel goes, this is my third attempt, and after two years of EPIC FAIL I just hit 26k and am about 1/4 through my novel's actual plot. So this is probably going to be a very good year for me, as far as nanowrimo is concerned. My novel is called 'Confessions of a High School Boyfriend' and it (Is a Kingdom Hearts high school AU, because that is all I know how to write at the moment) follows a boy through all four years of his high school life as he meets knew people and falls for one of his new friends who happens to be a boy. It's mostly about random shenanigans but it's also got a large focus on acceptance and how hard that is to find when you live in a little conservative city like mine.
Very slice-of-life. Supposedly it's amusing, but goodness knows I haven't read any of it. If you're curious, I'm posting my daily progress at kream_filling
Also, just in case you were wondering, the true key to nano success is having your own personal cheer leader who throws a small party every time you hit a word-mile-stone. And who waves a pompom in your face every time you hit a rut. (That's my Roxy-love ♥)
