Cravings due to your novel?

My characters have been stuck in breakfast time their time for three days my time now! They've already had two breakfasts in their one morning, AND I DON'T HAVE ANY CHEESE DANISH IN MY FRIDGE!!! This has produced the most severe cravings on my behalf ... especially considering that I've quarantined myself due to having the swine flu right now, and so the earliest I'll be able to leave home to go to the particular store that sells good Danish is sometime Sunday (two days from now), provided that I get better (which I need to so that I can go to work on Monday)....

But that got me to wondering, have any of you had a situation in your novel that made you crave something? Or has a craving of yours worked its way into the pages of your novel? (Mine just did....)

They really do. Especially this one since she's considered the savior of the world, and gets whatever she wants as a result.

You don't piss off the savior, man.

(Ha! My main character has a demon possessing her and likes to take over at the least opportune times. Any other moment she's a sweet nine-year-old socially awkward French girl who has been in hiding for the last three years. Who wants her potatoes now.)
