Cravings due to your novel?

My characters have been stuck in breakfast time their time for three days my time now! They've already had two breakfasts in their one morning, AND I DON'T HAVE ANY CHEESE DANISH IN MY FRIDGE!!! This has produced the most severe cravings on my behalf ... especially considering that I've quarantined myself due to having the swine flu right now, and so the earliest I'll be able to leave home to go to the particular store that sells good Danish is sometime Sunday (two days from now), provided that I get better (which I need to so that I can go to work on Monday)....

But that got me to wondering, have any of you had a situation in your novel that made you crave something? Or has a craving of yours worked its way into the pages of your novel? (Mine just did....)

Does it count if it's not food? XD When I gave my MC fingerless striped cloves, I couldn't help wanting my own really badly.

Ooh, now I want some too! I bet they're easy to make. I have a glove book around here somewhere...

My word count is so bad, I might as well knit. :P

Ahaha, I feel you, I've only got half of what I'm supposed to. That what I get for starting on the fourth day, I guess!

Yeah, I think I can sew some, I've got some extra fabric around. Maybe after November. XD

In designing the outfits and uniforms for my characters I found myself growing more and more jealous of their clothes! And most of it isn't even stuff I could wear anywhere (it's clothes from ~THE FUTURE~ and most of it is 150% ridiculous and tacky.) My MC also has a bitchin' pair of gloves that I'd KILL for.

Exactly! One of characters dresses in 17th century dresses and I want to wear them so bad! I can't, though, because that sort of thing looks ridiculous outside of certain circumstances these days.

My fashion sense is so wacky.
