Isn't it amazing the way the characters can go all on their own? I imagined that Ted would be the love interest of my main character- at least for a little while, because his conservative upbringing would totally get in the way of their love. When he kinda dissed her at the bonfire, I figured he was just shy. And when he was freaking out about his supposed gay roommate, I assumed he was just homophobic (very conservative family). How was I to know that he was gay??? Now who will my main character love? Maybe the supposed gay roommate- I'm still not sure about him.
