Alright, GO ME for actually getting some work done today. Like, 6,000 words done. Three whole chapters done. Yegads! I am so proud of myself.

And my interest in my novel has been resurrected. It was dragging, and even though I knew what needed to happen eventually, I didn't know what needed to happen for me to get there.

So I killed some people.

This may prove problematic in the future. But dammit, I need some words to advance the word count. Hafta shoot first and ask questions later.

If I finish all 50K by 11:59 p.m. November 30--which I fully intend to do--I am going to be so proud of myself. Rarely do I set personal goals and then work determinedly to achieve them. This will be a crowning achievement for me, one which I will wear proudly. Even though most people I know will say, "What the heck is NaNoWriMo?"

P.S. Promised to post more from the Novel, but haven't yet. Sleepy now. Will do tomorrow, cross my heart.

Ah! A coinosseur of Tori lyrics.

I just meant that only someone who likes Tori and is familiar with her lyrics will give a crap about my icon. Someone who doesn't know her songs would be like, "Huh?"

Whereas the Bucky the Cat icon...just freakin adorable. Plus, who hasn't done that? "I've written sixteen words....that means just 1,650.66666 more to go!!!"

But isn't that a good thing? Confusing people is fun! Plus it distracts them from writing, thus giving you a chance to out-word them while they aren't looking! :-p

It is! There are also those times when you are typing away and you think: "Oh, this is great! I should finish my quota in no time!" And then you check your word count and find out you've only written around 37 words. :-/

I know! The first 500 words seem to go so slowly, then after that you just seem to roll.

Why did no one warn me about the Week 3 Wall? Well, plus, I've been busy. But I am way behind! This will be an intense weekend for me!!!

LOL. I understand. Yesterday I was plotting to kill someone over AIM chat because she had written, like, 30K already.

Keep in mind...I wrote 6K yesterday, but NOTHING for four days beforehand. And yesterday was my day off.

Today I still have quite a bit to write to catch up. Yegads!
