Has anyone here done NaNoWriYear? I'm probably not going to meet quota for NaNoWriMo, because I have finals all next week and an afghan to finish knitting in time to ship off for Christmas. I also have no less than five stories pestering me, so I don't get very much done on my NaNo story when I do find time to write.

I looked at the website for NaNoWriYe, and it seems like it would suit me better--everyone gets a turn and I have more time to work on them. I'm just wondering, does anyone have the experience to tell me a little more about it?

I don't have any experience, but I'm working out a writing schedule and am planning to sign up when signups open tomorrow.

Halfway through this NaNo novel, I came up with a plot for a second novel, and I feel like that second novel really needs to get written. And the discipline of writing to a quota is motivating me tremendously. So NaNoWriYe it is.

What's nanowriyear? Where is it?

I've never heard of it. Can you give a link or something? I might try that for the second part of the trilogy I'd planned to write.

That sounds pretty cool. I will have written 2 books this year, counting this month's NaNo, and I'm beginning to like long projects. I'll probably sign up and thanks for the info.
