(no subject)

It was mentioned to me that it's alright to write with pen and paper and transcribe after November 30th. Two years ago when I 'won' NaNo I had to submit my manuscript in full for verification that I'd won. Have the rules changed so that you can enter your word count using the honour system for the final verification? Otherwise I'm either going to have to enter some random computer text OR do a heck of a lot of typing. Most of my story is in a notebook.

it says in the faqs that hand written pieces cannot be verified. They now have a place to upload finished documents for word verification. Once the word count is verified you automatically are a 'winner'. It doesn't seem they have any manual handwritten thing in place.

If you really need that electronic verification, just type "writer's cramp" and paste it 25,000 times. That'll get you your verification, and you'll know you did the writing.

:D

They can't verify handwritten stuff.

I look like this :D

There is a way for your local ML to verify it for you. Try contacting cybele and asking about it.
