Hi everyone, I'm Vix. This is my very first year doing NaNo, although I've been threatening to do it for at least 5 years! I had a really busy year and it seems like I haven't made any time for myself to be creative or work on my writing, so I'm hoping that this will be my big leap back into the world of writing. I'm really looking forward to writing a novel and I really really hope that I can finish, LoL. As of last week I had almost no plot and then I swear the whole thing came to me this morning as I was lying in bed dreading getting up and starting. It's so exciting to get the creative juices flowing again! OK, and I think that now I'm officially the longest introduction on this page (too bad it doesn't count toward my word count, haha). Hi gang. :) This is niro1689, or Niro for short. This is my second time at NaNo. I almost, almost won last year's, missing by a mere 4,000 words or so. (Thanks college essays for that. :P )

Anyways, I want to write Theh Novel I've been planning for years this time around. Yeah, it'll stink, but...it's okay. At least I'll have something to go by when I try to get it rewritten for publication. :)

This year I have an abundance of time, so no real excuse not to write. I'm going for the "just write and see where it goes" strategy rather than the "carefully planned plot" method as the last few times, following meticulous research and planning, I got bored and it fell apart.

hey guys, my name's perry and i'm a library student at drexel university. i'm 22 and live in west philadelphia. this is my second attempt at nanowrimo.

over the summer i was writing 4 hours a day, but that's faded with school and work, so hopefully nanowrimo will help me get back on a decent schedule.

Hey. This is Jill. This is my secondish year (I think I may have written a few thousand words the year before). Last year I believe I pooped out around 45k or so. I know, lame. I have a plot outline this year, and I'm hoping that helps me avoid some of the pitfalls of last year, aka deciding to make the love interest evil in the last fourth of the book. Not recommended. And so, after a year of procrastinating, my goal this year isn't as much 50k words as it is to actually finish it (which, I'm hoping should be at least 50,000, if everything goes as planned [which, as all you writers know, never happens]). Hi everyone! I’m Misty. Only recently this summer did I discover my love for writing again, while writing for some fanfic sites. I’ve written quite a few short stories, but nothing in the world of a novel. A friend recently suggested that I attempt to write a novel, and then someone told me about Nano. So I thought, why not give it a shot?
