How is your writing going?

Hello, everyone!
How is 2011 treating you? Have you kept up with writing? Joined any great writing groups? Joined any fun non-writing groups?

As many of you may know, April is the month for ScriptFrenzy. Similar to NaNoWriMo the goal of Script Frenzy is to write a 100 page movie script within 30 days. Quite a challenge, if you ask me! How many of you are participating?

If you're not participating, would you be interested in doing a different writing challenge? Personally, I will be giving myself the challenge of writing every day for the month of April. I've gotten out of the habit of writing frequently and miss it. We're not hosting any official challenges, but it's always fun to give yourself a goal to work towards!

Regardless of what you do next month, I would like to invite any of you that are not currently members of [livejournal.com profile] allyear_sprints to go over and join! For the month of April(and continuing after that) I will be posting daily prompts or bits of inspiration varying from pictures, quotes, random words, and similar things to help motivate our creativity a bit more.

April is for my big bang this year, among other things. I've been writing non-stop since January, more or less, and I love it.

I'm not participating in ScriptFrenzy. I guess my writing is going okay. I've got a couple of things going on, and I've been writing little snippets. I joined a writing group, but so far it's not really active enough to tell if it's good or not. I posted almost two weeks ago and haven't gotten any response. :| Feeling kinda discouraged at the moment.

Actually, last I passed the halfway point - over 25,000 words - in my first novel. I know it's slow going, but life and all that keeps getting in the way.

I got my fiance to sign up for ScriptFrenzy!! And while he's busy knocking that out, a good friend and I are going to get back into our NaNo novels and do some hardcore editing.

I'm doing Script Frenzy! I'll be adapting my 2010 NaNo to test drive some new ideas before diving back into editing.

I'm not doing Script Frenzy, but I wanted something to do in April. I haven't make my monthly goals at all so far this year, but the writing is still going pretty well, I think. I may have set the goals too high.

I'm not doing Script Frenzy. This November will be my first NaNo, and I'm so looking forward to it! Perhaps for April, I'll start brainstorming characters and plot...

I've spent the months since November finishing my Nano, and undertaking a rewrite/edit of a previous work...its nearly done, have one bit to add and the epilogue to rework. I should get that wrapped tomorrow.
Then its time to start the rewrite/edit of the follow up story to that one...with the goal being to work myself back to the point in the series where I left off, so that I can finish that book too.
Dunno what I'll do if I'm still rewriting by November...maybe use Nano to finish the book that needs finishing. I won't have time to research plot out anything else!
