Weird thought...
If your NaNoWriMo novel (this year's or any previous one) were to be made into a motion picture right now, who would be your dream cast and which characters would they play?

While writing my 2002 novel, I sometimes saw a somawhat older Molly Ringwald fitting the part; that notion was based not in her well-known roles (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, etc.), but for her role in a little-known film called Office Killer. It was really a case of superficial appearance, I think.
Growing up and living in a thriving multimedia culture, it's perhaps inevitable that when we write, we catch vivid glimses of our characters, sometimes wearing the faces, voice, or mannerisms of actual actors. And I suppose it's equally difficult to ignore the secret wish, however irrational, that something we write might become a teleplay, and who would play the various roles. I think this is fine and harmless, so long as we don't start writing the characters with an actual actor in mind.
