Hey all you schooly nanoers.. I am currently setting up a system with a few friends of mine to do a school-friendly nanowrimo, where we have TIME to actually sit down and write a novel and be a good support system without a whole bunch of pressure to write while working/sleeping/doing homework. So, I'm beginning to set up a July Nanowrimo of my own. I plan on using the nanochatroom at www.goodchatting.com/nanowrimo.html as a source of frustration getting out during this time as well as keeping up with word wars and everything like that. I plan on doing all of the pep-talk type of stuff and I'm going to be doing this mostly with the help of Chris's book.

So, essentially, if any of you are interested in coming together and writing in July, email me at VictoriaVipere@gmail.com and I'll add you to my list. Or just reply in a comment.

Has anyone tried Word 2003, or its Trial version?? It has a word count that you can add to the menu bar whatever you call it. I really think that they shouldn't have put it there, because now you can constantly see (and update) your word count all the time. Then again, it might be good motivation for those who feel lousy by such a low word count...

Well, if you don't have Word 2003, or the beta version of Word 2005, then I suggest you get a trial from microsoft...I'm not suggesting buying it (200 dollars for a WORD program?!) but if they are giving out free trials, then why not? ;)
