National Novel Writer's Month

I'm only going to continue this today and tomorrow. After that, we shouldn't need to introduce ourselves any more because we'll be 5 days into NaNo and most people doing NaNo will have joined by then.

So yeah, if you STILL haven't, or you just came to the party, step up and say hello!

Since it seems there are a bunch of last minute joiners, I figured I would continue doing these until the end of the week. Sorry about today, but dude, it's November 1st! You should be writing in your NANO, not playing on message boards.

So yes, if you're one of the last minute joiners, feel free to use this post to introduce yourself to the community!

Also, please take a moment to actually click into the community journal. If you look at our layout, you'll see a wonderful sidebar of links! There you will find one-click stops to things like the RULES of the community... the Plot Help posts (which I will be posting the new one after this post)... the RULES... resources like widgets and websites to help you along... THE RULES... and some of our new sister LJ sites!

Oh, and did I mention the RULES OF THE COMMUNITY?!

Finally... if you post is deleted... there is a reason. Please don't just repost it. There is only three-four people in this community that can do that. Me, Mo, our hidden mod, and yourself (for your own post, obviously). If you don't understand why it was deleted, e-mail the mod who deleted it.

It's the last intro post of the season! OMG! IT'S ALMOST TIME TO NANO (and for some people in other parts of the world, they already are writing!!!)

I'm back from the trip to the festival. It was pretty sweet.

So... anyone new pop in over the weekend? Only 2 days left for Nano to start! Feel free to introduce yourselves!

And I'm also going away for the weekend to the It Came from Lake Michigan Film Festival. I won their writing contest (*squee!*) and I get free admission, as well as a bunch of prizes and an award ceremony and free stuff! Talk about an ego boost before NaNo, eh?

I'll be back Monday, and we can really get into panic mode together!

Yes, I suck at life. No, really. I have two jobs, and it's killing me with being away from the computer on weekends. So I apologize folks.
