For anyone who is new to the community... PLEASE, like any group that you join, you have to read the rules as so you know how to interact in the community.

There are rules in this group too. And they are clearly stated on the profile page, which everyone would have to be on to join the community for posting access.

In this profile, you have the following information:

In November we start a whole new set of rules as we start to include the Daily Word Count posts and the Daily Excerpt posts. We're working on redoing the layout and such for November 1st as well, and ALL THE RULES and tag links will be listed in the sidebar.

PLEASE... please... not just for me and the mods, but all your fellow community members, take a look at these BEFORE you start posting in this community. I hate deleting posts because it's not fair to you, but if I leave it, then what is the purpose of having rules?

I know this community is strict in October and November, but this is how it's been run for years and it WORKS. Ok? So please help me be able to help you and make this an enjoyable experience for all.

One Week until NaNo starts! Are you freaking out yet? don't worry, I am!

So come on, you've got just a bit of time left to say hello while people still will pay attention and not be focused on their own NaNo.

Looking for LJ people in your area?! The Regional Meet and Chat thread is STILL GOING!!!! Click Here and go find some people in your area who you can sneak into their kitchens for chocolate mid-November!

And don't forget! Need help with a plot? Want to see what others are writing and help them out of tricky situations? GO HERE and take a look at what your fellow LJ'ers are doing!

It's the new, cool thing. I promise.

Also, please take a moment and review the List of Rules of the community.

And lastly, I've added two tags: 2007: icons and 2007: resources. Please feel free to use these tags if you post an entry that falls into the topics. If you've already posted one, you can go back and edit your entry to add the tag. I will be adding them to the profile soon as well.

Also finally... please any entry over 300 words long, please use an LJ cut.

You know, all of these could get worked into a single story. I should offer up a cameo appearance in my NaNovel for the first one who can do it *sage nod*
