Regardless of where you are we now have less than 48 hours until the official start of NaNoWriMo.

It is officially panic crunch time.

Are you ready? What type of last minute preparations are you doing? (if any)

Better yet, what type of shiny things have you found to help you procrastinate getting ready? Have you spent hours that were meant to be for plotting cruising tvtropes? Get online intending to research and plot but instead went on omegle to troll strangers? Or have you just sat down to start planning when... oh man... you suddenly feel so hungry and snackish that you have the odd desire to bake a cake!

I'm not prepared at all! Instead of prepping I bought books today. YEAH.

I never plot. I never have any ideas. Or characters. And crucially this year I don't have the time.

But I have snacks and Cheerleaders.

Still going to attempt it though:)

I'm actually more excited than panicked. I have a beginning and an end, and a bunch of other happenings that don't really have an order just yet. I know my characters well. Just need to do a bit of research on boarding schools and I`m good to go.

The only thing that kind of sucks is that most of my writing is going to have to happen while I`m at work. (I have a desk job where there are long stretches of time where I`m not *actually* working.) I hope I can get over the environment and actually get some writing done.

I am totally not caring. Just breathing deep. Sloooow breathing. I usually map out my entire story with notecards and PANIC and this yeah I said, no. NO. I have my basic plot written out in my head, same with the characters. Then I'm going to wing it.

I am so nervous, which is weird, because I wasn't at all last year. And I have my character, my plot and my worldbuilding largely done. I have no reason to be nervous, but I am. o.o

Today I steam-cleaned the carpets, did laundry and spent time with my family.

I am doing last minute plotting and also making muffins. It's a process.

I'm just excited at this point, because being consumed by NaNo will help me greatly deal with my fiance leaving for boot camp tomorrow *sob sob*.

I've got a rough plot written down, my characters mapped out, and ideas for certain scenes, but I'm kind of just going to go with what I think works as far as story flow goes. The only distraction I'll have is work, mostly, so I'm not too concerned, really.

I'm nervous. Looks like there's going to be a load of other stuff going on in November too (dance association duties aaahgjgdhgdfh), so I'm just really worried that I won't be able to concentrate on my novel like I'd want to. :/

My main character is currently the only one that has a name. And my plot is pretty much All Over the Place.

Fffffuuuuuuuu

And I mean, geez, it's not like school's going to stop handing out homework through November, either. >_<

Ugh, I know! I've got two exams in November, plus an intensive workshop course thing, plus I should really prepare for a couple of big projects coming up in December. Gah.
