I'm Aerlind, here, on the Nano site, and just about everywhere else requiring a username on the Internet. I'm in my last semester of undergrad at the University of Colorado (studying Integrative Physiology) and this will be my...*counts*...6th Nano? I've only won once, last year (and was about 300 words shy of 60k!). I ride horses in my spare time (hence my avatar). Fun stuff.
My novel is a fantasy-fiction, mostly fiction with a few elements of stuff that would never happen. Basically, the MC is of a rare race of people who live extended lives and can only be killed by a knife made by one of her ancestors...and the wrong person discovers the existence, legend, and location of the knife. It becomes a race to find the knife, the MC for her life and the antagonist, for his immortality.
