I decided to join after seeing the link in a friend's journal. I've had novel ideas for years, but never actually started writing one. It's always a thing I say I'm going to do, that I'm going to do it someday, but never actually start doing it.

Maybe a challenge is what I need and finding this community two weeks before the actual challenge is a little more than coincidence to me. So I'm here. Sign me up. Not that I think I'll actually manage to do it with college and all and my easiness to divert my attention to other stuff.

But I want to try.
