nanowrimo_ljLast year's NaNo was fairly awful, but had a few good ideas thrown in amongst the slush.
This year's will be in the same universe, but better written, and with a bit of hopping around in time.
Main Characters
Lucas Frederick - Rake, womaniser and all-round cad, utterly dashing. Old school chum of Crisp and Absalom.
Marcus Absalom - Level-headed thinker of the operation, often mistaken for hired muscle.
Bartholemew Crisp - Neurotic, bitter and fidgety, a pessimist to the core, best friend of Absalom.
Isobel Callender - Superiour of the three secret agents, and the world's first female lead with no redeeming characteristics. Smokes a lot of very cheap tobacco and thus stinks.
Accessories to the main characters
Satan, AKA The Fallen One, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies, Ever-Festering Wound, but he prefers to be called Pluto by his friends, or Mr P. Blake on official business. This IS the twenty-first century after all! (I think!)
Agrona Blake, AKA Mum - Satan's long-suffering wife, and mother to his three daughters.
Acantha Blake, AKA Aggie - Satan's eldest daughter, now a lawyer.
Adrastia Blake, AKA Addie - Satan's second eldest daughter, now a filthy commie hippie student living on baked beans.
Alecto Blake, AKA Allie, AKA Daddie's Little Pumpkin - Satan's youngest daughter, now a foul toddler who loves kitties and puppies and bunnies and other nauseating things.
The Haemophagolagomorph, AKA Rabacula- A vampire rabbit to be delivered to Satan's youngest daughter for her birthday.
The plot - Four georgian secret agents are ordered by HM, after a request from Oxford Uni, after a request from a student (Adrastria), after a request from her Daddy (Pluto) after a demand from His Little Pumpkin, to acquire a vampire rabbit and take it to the North Pole, the place where the Underworld and ours meet.
Much hilarity ensues. Honest.
