nanowrimo_ljThanks for all the great responses to my last post! <3 It's so much fun hearing others' thoughts. This is a great experience and I'm so glad I'm doing it!
Just had a quick question: are there any other people on here who write for a living (any kind of writing) and who are doing NaNo?
I'm a reporter, and I usually churn out two or so stories a day, but am doing more this week due to municipal elections. It's both wonderfully and terribly distracting, I keep finding myself wanting to write NaNo instead of, well, work.
My giant cloud monsters are way more interesting than the uncontested mayor's race in the next town over. Sorry mayor, but it's true.
If there is anybody else here doing this, how are you handling the massive amounts of writing per day without getting burned out?
