Ok, I have a new story idea and I figured my group of writing pals might be able to help me with this...

I have a story idea about a reality show, and I want to use a royal family in the story as part of the premis... and I want to have it take place in England...

Now... I doubt I can use Prince William and Harry... -=purrs a moment at William and Harry inspiration pictures=- but what should I do in making the family? Would it be believable if I made a NEW royal family and just didn't date the piece so that it could maybe be generations from now, or do I need to figure something else out, like not use the royal family, but it's some obscure relative...

I do want the young man to be in direct line for the throne, though...

I just want to keep it believable, but it's hard when there's such a prominant family already there...

And I'm afraid to use another country because I don't know the areas around as well... and I'm hoping to use this story as a reason to take a nice off-season vacation for "research" :-)

So, any ideas?
