I did it.  I freaking did it.  I've been participating in NANOWRIMO for six years and this is my first "win."

I thought I won earlier but apparently OPEN OFFICE doesn't give accurate word counts.  So I had another 1,700 words to write.  I want to thank everyone I met in the sprinting chat rooms.  You guys are life savers, you have no idea.  Or maybe you do.

I'm very happy right now.  Time for a nap!

Only 3 days left of November, and 5000 words left if you've been writing an average of 1,667 words a day. How are you guys faring? There have been a handful of winner's posts,so some of you seem to have survived! Congratulations! :D

Victory is mine!

I mean, according to googledocs I hit 50,011 words last night, but I made the last push today and got up to 50,199 words by the official site count! A winner is I!

And I still have at least two to four scenes to go on the plot. And the last quarter to third of the novel clearly suffers from writer fatigue, repeated phrases and limp descriptions and the whatnot, but I don't care. January is for editing. Possibly February. November is for writing. And December is for Yuletide.

And now I will have victory circus.

Well, according to Word's word count, I'm behind by like 200-300 words, but I found this Word Count Tool online and when I used that, it added about 1500 words to my word count. O.O I just wanted to ask if anyone else has found this/used it and knows if it's relatively accurate compared to the official verification on the official website. Because you know... if I really *am* up 1500 words... *happy dance*
