Quoth the NaNoWriMo Song:
"It's a mixture of relief, perseverance and caffeine... And just a little touch of going mad."
I suppose leaving a crowded Starbucks at 10:30pm just to go write by yourself, in the dark, on a cold park bench, by a duck pond, could be considered a little, well, mad. :D
BUT I WIN! I don't know if it was the cold outside, or what, but my fingers just weren't happy with stopping at 48,000 tonight! The typing wouldn't cease! :D
At 50,214 now. I'm going to take the last two days of November to flesh out the last couple chapters, which ended up very sketchy. This will be my largest NaNo word count to date, and I'm determined to leave the month with a finished draft.
(OH yeah... Has anyone else almost cried when they hit 50K? I'm wondering if it was the sleep deprivation or something else... XD)
Good luck to all those who are running to the finish line!
