I've been planning my NaNovel for ages... it's going to be a sci-fi action-adventure something like the last one I did, set in a galaxy where lightspeed+ transmissions don't work but lightspeed+ ships still do.

But! Today while watching the race on Gaia online I was beaten upside the head with the idea to make my NaNovel a huge Gaia Online fanfic. It's the perfect setting for weirdness, I'd get to write about Gino, and I have had a sort of plot pooling in my brain for a while... Gino, running away from home, runs into a girl with a lot of pets (my character... yeah.) and they end up travelling halfway across the world to escape a very very angry Gambino.

(Gambino is the NPC who owns one of the towns in the game. He's an asshole. He's horrible to his son, as shown for certain by his commentatoring of the races. (he's been throwing a fit that the kid's so far behind and threatening to beat him up, and saying 'If you win the race I'll let you eat at the dinner table again') He's about twice the size of a normal avatar.
Gino's his son, and he's tiny. Under five feet, and I'm fairly sure he's suppsoed to be a teenager. He's always sad in every picture of him, and he's the cutest thing. Plus, he gave out event items the last two events. They rocked.)

I'm sorry, that was a bit... useless.

Which sounds better? Which should I do? Should I try both? (switching between chapters, with two different stories rather than two that connect (is that even allowed? XD)) Do I think too much?
