I've more or less said this before, many many times, but I am approaching the edge of panic now.

WHO ELSE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO?

No plot, no title, nothing. Show of hands?

...but then I always make things up as I go along :O)
Titles with me usually happen when I'm done ...

*gulps*

Er, that would be me you're describing.
Plus, it's my first nano attempt.
Plus I haven't written any fiction in five years+.
*sinks into despair for a moment*
*brightens up*
I have decided that I'm going to write a children's book though. That's one decision I've managed to make =)

Me too!

I have about 6 storylines in my head (all completely different and seperate) and I cant make a decent plot from any of them.

I'm half considering going down the fanfic route....... *sigh*

Me, me, me! Crap, I can't even decide what sort of genre to put it in. I don't even have characters other than vague ideas I'm not even sure I like. Wow, I'm screwed, aren't I?

OH GOD! Me too! Not a clue ... well, actually, about a million, very vague, completely disparate ideas that I can't decide between or do anything with. I don't know WHAT I'm going to do come Monday (apart from panic like crazy, of course). This is my first NaNo, and I'm rather feeling the pain of everyone over at the 'DEAR GOD I'VE JUST REALISED HOW MUCH WORK 50,000 WORDS IS' thread on the forum.

I considered fanfic too, but I'm determined to do something original, if I have to spend the first few days writing diaries for my characters or something until something comes to me. Not that I have any proper characters... *wail*

I'm also away tomorrow until Tuesday, so suffice to say I'm extremely worried. *wibble*

So glad I'm not the only one!

I don't even know why I'm attempting this, since I've never even written anything properly before (I'm one of those "one day I'll get around to it...." types), it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Having serious doubts now!

*seconds the wibble*

*raises hand* Nada. And I'm sick and I have essays and I don't know when I'll find time to *plot*, let alone write. But heck, I've failed for three years in a row, who am I to mess with tradition? *grin* I don't think this is going to be the year I make it, frankly- too much on my plate at the moment. But I'm sure as hell gonna *try.*

I scrapped my previous idea and came up with a different one last night. Nothing like switching horses just before the race has begun.

That's why I haven't introduced myself to the community yet. I can't make up my mind about anything. I've got several characters for three different stories in mind, but I can't pick which to write about.

*raises both hands high, high in the air* I have the name of one character, 4 possible genres, and like a Bajillion plots. By Monday I hoped to have it narrowed down to maybe, I don't know, a million.

Personally, I am considering mixing and matching every idea floating around in my head, even seriously conflicting ones.

Not only do I have no ideas as far as plot, characters, setting, genre, anything, this is my first nano and I've never written fiction before. Oh boy... less than a week now.

I'm new to NaNo, and I had no clue I wanted to try it until last night. No characters, no title, no real plot; just a vague idea of where it's taking place and very little recent writing experience.

Eep.

I have a page of rough notes....mostly snippets of conversation. I have no plot, characters, or title.

I'm scared.
