I've just realized how much I love adjectives and adverbs for increasing my word count so effortlessly. :)

I love culture clash dialogues, where two youngsters explain "what is and isn't done" to each other (and also to the reader, heh). Words words words words!

LOL One thing I can say about NaNo is that it's helping me to "just write" and not worry about editing as I write. It was hard at first, but I'm finding it easier and easier to leave in words I might otherwise go back and delete because they're contributing to my word count!

Amen! What I did was drop my MC into something that's already going on, so every chapter, people have to sit down with her and explain things. I also never knew that description could take up so many words, but now that I know that, I've noticed that I've been describing things more.
