Just when you start to think there is no wall

Don't say it can't happen to you, because I made that mistake and hit the wall head first yesterday. I wrote 1,000 words that headed the story in a direction that I didn't want, so I had to scrap all 1000. Feeling like a total failure, I wanted to give up then and there. Instead, I managed another 3,000 word to get a total of 24,000.
Can you say I got over the wall? Maybe not, the wall might not be done with me yet!

Wow, the same thing happened to me last night, and the same number of words. It was quite disheartening at first, but now I'm feeling better about where my story is headed.

I'm glad I'm not alone! I felt so rotten! Scrapping words is bad enough, but in NaNo...argh!
