Whee! As of 10:32 tonight, I'm a novelist! Well, a nanovelist, but that's still pretty cool.

So, what am I going to do now? I'm goin' to Disney--

Wait a minute, no I'm not. I'm just going to bed. But...I plan to put this monstrosity of a manuscript away for a month, and come back and edit and revise it in January when my brain isn't fried by the experience of writing it. At that point, I may undertake the daunting task of trying to expand it to real novel length--we shall see. First I have to put all the contractions back in (yes, I cheated slightly). The story isn't finished, either--I just know where it's going, but I stopped at 50000 words becasue it was an hour and a half before the deadline, and I'd done nothing for the last week but write. (Well, other things, yes, but mainly write.) So that's it for now.

Next project: 19th century costumes! Then, more puppets!
