Word Count Widgets

Okay, maybe I'm just really really slow or something... but when I multiply the daily word "goal" (1667) by the number of days... (6) I get a total like this = 10,002. However, when I use one of the widgets on the NaNo site, I get this:



Granted, it makes me look better, but still, what's with the difference?

Maybe it multiplies the goal by yesterday's day until midnight on the Nano site?
Like.. it's multiplying the daily goal by 5 since the 6th is not officially over yet? And you may have to change the goal somehow?

i think, they put it the goal slightly higher on the nano widget for the days at the end of the month (thanksgiving) when you wont be able to do as much?

If at 12 midnight on November 6th you have 1667*5, you're right on track. If at 11:30 pm on November 6th you have 1667*5, you're still right on track, because it's certainly doable to write 1667 words in half an hour.

Yeah, the widgets on the website look off to me, including the report card. When I was on track (ahead, even!) my progress report said it would take me 800 days or something like that to finish. What?!
