Interlace your fingers, and stretch them forwards and back for a count of 5.

Stretch your arm in front of your body, keep your elbow straight at all times
. Move your hands so the fingers are pointing up.
Use your opposite hand towards your body gently.
Hold for a count of ten.
Repeat on the other side.
Do this five times.

Extend your arm in front of your body, keeping your elbow straight.
Drop your hand so it's pointing to the floor.
Use your other hand to pull it towards your body under the arm.
Hold for a count of ten.
Repeat on the other side. Do this five times.

Every two hours, stand up and walk around for at least five minutes.
While working, link your fingers and lift your arms above your head as far as they will go.
Occasionally flex your lower back forward and back.

As someone who has lived with chronic back pain since the 7th grade, I find that a hammock is the perfect place for writing.
