Bleugh. I'm at a part in my story and I'm bored of it. Its necessary in building up to the characters madness but I just wish she'd get on and go crazy NOW!!!

Then I can write all the fun parts like nightmares, premonitions, visions and despair. I haven't decided what will happen after that but I trust my story to take me where it wants to go.

I'm at work today. Its not easy to write. I'm behind. I'm nearly at the 10,000 mark but I hoped to be way past that by today. And a friend is coming for dinner after work so thats more distraction. Oh! I wish I was at home.

I'm actually coming up to an exciting part, but the process of slogging through a patch of boring description has killed my enthusiasm. Argh!

Then go past the boring part and write the fun part. You'll WANT to write more, and you can always go back in December to do the boring stuff. :) I skip scenes all the time.

I just got through my boring parts the past couple of days. Word wars help to motivate me to write, but yesterday I was only able to get 1,200 words done. Thankfully today I'll be able to get to more exciting parts! Good luck!

Sounds like you've got some fun stuff coming up.

I kind of wish I'd decided to write straight through despite wanting to get to certain parts because it makes writing the things in the middle even less appealing.

Keep doing what you're doing. And good luck to you.
