Well, I joined last night, which is all [livejournal.com profile] kittydesade's fault.

...actually, come to that, all of this is her fault.

I'm Anna, or Adsartha. First time doing Nano, still not sure I'm cut out for doing novel-length fiction. Up to now I've been much more comfortable with short fiction or non-fiction. But I have an outline, and I'm working on character and place sketches, so at least I shouldn't be too badly off come November 1. ... right?

Did I mention this was all Jag's fault?

It would have helped if I'd used a different icon, wouldn't it.

That's still not helping.

I wonder if I can counter every one of yours with a B5 icon. Hmmmmmmm. >.>

I have no Zathras. You win.

(Zathras is finite. You are finite. This... is wrong tool.)

I have to admit, I kind of groaned when I realized that this was yours and [livejournal.com profile] age's baby, among others... the brainwashing crack hilarity that will occur!

Hi! I joined a couple of days ago before which I was very unsure wether to take part this year or not. I'm in my last year of school, I've got 6 exams to take in November as well as my driving exam. That's going to be interesting.

Last year I failed miserably and gave up after 5 days. This year I'm trying to go in there prepared and I've got a much better feeling about the whole thing already. No giving up this time!

I'm still working on my plot and characters but it's all coming together slowly. I'm surprisingly excited about it and so looking forward to see what everybody else is coming up with. I love how diverse the stories are.

November 1st - I'm coming! :D

I've failed every year so far, but this is my first time taking NaNo seriously, so I hope I do well. I have a basic premise in my head - a murder mystery I think, and I'm working on an outline and have two of my characters worked out, but apart from that... I think I'll wing it. (:

Nice to meet you all, call me Ellis.

hello, hello

I attempted Nano in 2007 and 2008. I will win in 2009. I swear, I will complete this task!

I will be writing a coming of age story about two siblings looking for information on their family and roots.

My name's Christine. I'm delving into NaNoWriMo because of the writing bug I caught from taking a writer's workshop class. I haven't written seriously since high school (which was only 6 years ago) but it's a big deal to me. I got so used to writing academic papers that I think this should be a nice change for me.

Hi! I used to be a member under the journal [livejournal.com profile] ahryantah, but this year I'm going to be using my main journal for NaNo. This is a my sixth year (I can't believe I've been doing it for that long!).

I mostly write fantasy and science fiction. This year's NaNo is going to be a blend of the two, so it ought to be interesting to write, anyway. I don't have much more than the beginnings of an idea and a main character, but that's pretty par for the course for me.

Hi! I just joined this community. I don't know if I will have a separate journal for NaNo, but I've written two novels and never done NaNo so I'm excited to try it.

This is my first time doing Nanowrimo. I've always been interested in writing, and I've heard of it before but I've never thought about doing it because of school and whatnot. But now that I'm all edu-ma-cated and graduated, I have more free time! So why not?! :) I've got a couple of ideas roaming around in the noggin, but haven't decided on anything.

Hey, all. (: Second NaNo attempt, first win (hopefully). I'm writing a murder mystery, mixed with pretty much every genre out there. :D Except sci fi. And fantasy. But anywho... Looking forward to it! :D

Hey I have never done this before. I have never even written more than a few 1000 words of fan fiction and I havent really written anything in the last 5 years. I never even did English further than GCSE so I am a real writing virgin lol!
I randomly got an idea for a novel in my head yesterday and wrote 2000 words. Then I suddenly realised it was NaNoWriMo month soon. Some of my LJ friends had participated in the past. So I randomly decided about 30 mins ago to participate this month!

This should be interesting. I am expecting to realise how bad I am and how I know nothing about this area of things.

My name is Alaina. I'm 21 years old and currently spending a year teaching English in Bad Aussee, Austria. I've heard of NaNo before, but never done it and I figured this year would be a great year to start! The only thing I've ever wanted is to be a full-time published writer, so here I am finally chasing down my dream! I hope I can make the 50k and use this website as a source of support!

Can't wait to start!...I'm already outlining an idea...

Cheers!
Alaina

Hello, everyone.

Actually, this was done on a whim. I never joined NaNo before because my schedule often killed me. When I'm too tired, I can't write because I can't think straight. Also, word count makes me tense. These, I soon realized these aren't things which should stop me from trying. Actually, I'm really, really excited to get on with this. It's a real challenge for me, which will make it interesting.

My name is Dea Shakti. I am 22 years old and living in the Philippines. Pleasure to meet you all.

Hello

First year I've done this. I have a plan, but we'll see. 1667 doesn't sound like a lot of words to write in a day, but...
Here we go!
