Hi I'm writing a story about a teenage boy named Sam who suffers from Aspergers Syndrome (my younger brother has it). In the story I plan to write about Sam starting at a new school which got me thinking: how do school's differ in teaching students like Sam? are some schools better than others? I assume so, but although I have moved to different schools myself the schools have basically been the same when it comes to teaching students with learning difficulties. Therefore this is where I need your help: what have been your experiances with schools and the way they teach students with learning difficulties? Please note that this question does not apply to special schools.
