I was just curious if anybody ever bothered subscribing to publications geared towards writers.
I myself used to have a subscription to Writer's Digest, but they just seemed to rehash the same subjects and themes over and over.
Also, I think I'd do quite well, if I just actually sat down and wrote. So what do you think, can anything been gained from reading a publication that promises to make you a better writer? Can you learn writing from a book? Or do you just need write?
Now that I think of it, since it is rather the theme of NaNoWriMo, most of you are probably in the just need to write category.
