Okay, let me try this again, and see if my crappy browser and Internet connection will decide not to torment me and show me what's actually been posted after they crash. And yes, before anyone asks, I feel like a major league moron right now. As I said in one deleted response, if your car breaks down and you lose your wallet in the same day, the best idea is probably to just take some asprin, go to bed, and not try anything that requires the slightest degree of intelligence.
Man, I don't know what I did in a past life, but karma is beating me down pretty bad. =p

So, here it is, the cover for my first NaNoWriMo project, a new stab at an old project, which is probably about the hundredth or so time I've rebooted a book with these characters. Maybe it'll stick this time(and maybe I'll win the lottery tomorrow, too). So, who are these people?
Owen Matthias, the rabbit, has amassed an almost legendary reputation as a thief in the Emejre Reservation, which is smack in the middle of Atlanta, where the downtown area used to be. What are Emejre? If you guessed half human, half animal hybrids like the bunny, you win. After making a series of uncharacteristic mistakes on a heist, he finds himself in the forbidden Shadow Territory, and in a mess of trouble that's about to get worse...
Due in no small part to the girl, a red panda who he creatively dubs "Pandora". She doesn't speak, but seems as desperate to leave as Owen. He promises to help her escape, and finds himself drawn closer to him. Naturally, this agreement to help causes even more problems...
Mainly with the character in shadows. Sheol the White Death is a sort of cultural folk hero and urban legend. Unfortunately, he's a little more real than that. He and his mysterious master claim Pandora, or the Dreamforge as they call her, is their property. Naturally, this doesn't sit well with Owen, and the stage is set for Owen's problems to get a lot worse before they get any better.
Due to his vow, he finds himself drawn into a conspiracy that threatens both the Emejre and human worlds, and must ultimately become the one thing he fears the most.
A hero.
Again, hopefully none of you will want my head hoisted on the nearest pike and paraded around as a form of therapy for seeing my annoying massposts. =p
