So, I finally made myself a NaNo journal. I've been floating around as [livejournal.com profile] shino_hoshi.

Okay, I was planning originally on doing 'Every Other Hero' this year, but since I got 'No Plot No Problem', I've changed my mind and decided instead to do my mythology plot.

When Neil picked up an abandoned puzzle-block on his holidays and completed it, he had no idea that a few days later some crazy woman would be brandishing a bow and arrow at him claiming to be a Goddess and screeching that he may very well have brought about the end of the world.

In these days of disbelief, the Greek Gods have faded into the background and found niches for themselves among the mortals. Now, as the defences holding the Titans in Tartarus begin to crumble, Neil has the task of finding the Twelve Olympians - the most respected of the Gods - to reconstruct the seal.

But how do you find a God when they don't want to be found?

Of course, this means that I have to think of Careers for the Gods.

So far, I've got Zeus as a billionaire playboy and Mason, Hera who runs a publishing company and is editor to a high-profile women's magazine, Hestia working part time in a nursery...and that's it.

Artemis won't have a job because she's supposed to be guarding the puzzle-block, but I still have Apollo, Demeter, Dionysus, Hephaestos, Ares, Aphrodite, Athene, Poseidon and Hermes to think of.

Any suggestions?
