( Pep Card: Day 18 )
Okay, I want a show of hands. How many of you started reading this and thought Chris was going to advise us to not give in to the temptation of going on a murdering spree in our novels as a perfect excuse to re-cast the whole thing because our current characters were driving us up the wall?
*raises hand*
..Yeah, that's what I thought. We're all nuts.
And Can I just say that this advice is how I started NaNo? I had no idea how to kill (oh, the irony!) one of the key players in my prologue, so I decided to skip it and start after the event had taken place and it wasn't until the end of week one when the idea had hit me while on my way to dinner with my family. The reason? I had just had to write another death scene, one which ended up being directly related to the one that had yet to be written. So hang in there! Solutions do exist!
( Pep Card: Day 19 )
Sorry for not posting yesterday. I did inventory Saturday night and when I got up yesterday afternoon I was in no condition to think about anything except staying coherent enough so I could go back to work.
