nanowrimo_ljPrevious to this year's NaNo, all of my novels took place in cities that definitely weren't mine (Portland, OR). Now that I've moved to Los Angeles, I'm writing a novel set in Portland.
Does anybody else write novels set in their hometowns? If no, why not? If yes, do you leave names of places/streets the same, or do you change them?
Alternately, is anyone else as crazy as I am and trying to go for 100K this NaNo?
