Question on "translating" ... DND-based

nanowrimo_ljHey my DnD nerds (no offense meant, I LOVE DnD), I have a question: how do I translate the character sheets to be "real" world. You know, you're not going to go "I'm a level 23 Ranger, dual-classing at level 12 as a rogue" for example. Okay, some of you might, but I want something that translates easier, more for a novel that's not 100% DnD. Make sense?
