The Snowflake Process for Writing a Novel

If you're anything like me, you've never heard of "The Snowflake Process" before. Reading it over, I'm thinking I'll be using as much as I can during the next month, starting now.

I'm using this technique this year. I'm up to step 4 now, and it seems to be going really well. I know a lot more about the plot than I did this time last year, and actually have direction! yay! (I'm also a software geek, so this method transitioned pretty easily from work to "play") generally, I like it. :)

i was all gung-ho about using this method and was kindof working through it as i read until i saw it would take at least a month -- yikes!. but that's also to sell the novel, and I think I can adapt it for use before Nov.1 -- thanks so much for sharing it.

A friend of mine e-mailed me a webpage with that one it. I like it. :-) I think I'll be using it too. Just by trial and error I'd organized myself naturally into something similar anyway, so it was good to find a more structured version of it.
