It's hard to kill someone you love. Even when they're a character in one of your novels.

The first (and prior to that) murders in the serial killer story I'm doing for NaNo, only the people in the story care about. I didn't much. This one I like so much. I hated writing his murder. But I just now killed him.

You should have seen me when i killed off the DOG in one of my novels. I cried buckets. Hubby was like "Well change the story if it is upsetting you that much"
Me: "I can't. The dog gave its life to save its owner and i can't kill her off."
Hubby: Shakes head in despair. "Then get over it!"
