My characters have been stuck in breakfast time their time for three days my time now! They've already had two breakfasts in their one morning, AND I DON'T HAVE ANY CHEESE DANISH IN MY FRIDGE!!! This has produced the most severe cravings on my behalf ... especially considering that I've quarantined myself due to having the swine flu right now, and so the earliest I'll be able to leave home to go to the particular store that sells good Danish is sometime Sunday (two days from now), provided that I get better (which I need to so that I can go to work on Monday)....
But that got me to wondering, have any of you had a situation in your novel that made you crave something? Or has a craving of yours worked its way into the pages of your novel? (Mine just did....)

They eat a lot of bacon. And fancy cheeses.

Date: 2009-11-07 06:34 am (UTC)My characters were just going to eat lots of fancy cheeses (and breads and apples) for their breakfast, since they were traveling, but then they were providentially offered another breakfast at a village. I think my craving stuck that in there just so it could make me want cheese Danish even more!
