I used to live in Sarasota...and then I moved up to Pennsylvania and discovered that I cannot live without snow. Yes I know, I am weird. I do, however, miss my Disney World resident's pass. Sigh.

Hi, I'm celestineangel, I'm 30 years old and live in Louisiana. :) I work for the state, I'm a writer, and a Disney World addict. :D This will be my third NaNo and hopefully my third win in a row. Whoo!

My NaNo this year is urban fantasy without all the smutty smut. In fact, there's only small amounts of romance, period (come on, you all know that's what you think when you see "urban fantasy." There's this guy, see, his name is Patric, and he's a junkie musician and generally on a path to self-destruction. His boyfriend, Lyle, isn't helping much by being rather unfaithful (meaning, screwing anything with an orafice, but no, none of it will be "on camera," so to speak). Then weird stuff starts happening and it's not so much that Patric is the "Chosen One," and more that Patric is the "Doomed One." :D And there's angels and demons and stuff, too.

I'm Nika, 26 years old, and I live in Kentucky. I take classes at a community college and I already have my Assosciates in Arts and I am working on finishing my Assosciates in Science. I am taking a writing class and I am learning Japanese at the same time, which is fun!

This is my second time participating in Nano and I plan on winning again. My story is based off of a short story I did for my class. It is a family orientated story but more humor-based due to the teenagers crazy family. It will be in first person, which is new to me since I don't prefer first person but the character gets what the character wants. I like to write male characters so writing a first person female is going to definitely be different.

Okay, I'm done rambling now! Haha! XD

Greetings everyone! I am Amanda Rae from NJ, 22 years old for a few weeks more, a recent university graduate with a shiny degree in linguistics, and this...is my first NaNoWriMo ever. That's right: I decided (albeit a bit last minute perhaps) to jump onto the great boat that is NaNoWriMo. I'm more of a daydreamer than a writer, and prior to some small short stories the closest I ever got to writing was by being a paid copy editor, but I love a good challenge and I think it would be a great way for me to make some friends!

I am lingering somewhere between being a planner and a pantser, but I know what direction I want to take my story, and I've decided to let November unravel beneath my fingers and see where my imagination takes me, since this is my first attempt and I don't want to get too stressed out. Right now it seems that my story, "Solomon's Crown," is going to be a nice literary fiction piece with some romance thrown in, inspired by a Rumi poem with a similar title. Beyond that...well, that's half the fun. It's probably going to be more of a commentary on relationship dynamics than anything else, but I'm feeling analytical so I decided to run with it. Very different for me since my preferred genre is fantasy, but hey, go with the flow is my motto.

So that's me! I'm really looking forward to this and I hope to become acquainted with a few of my fellow writers out there! :3

I'm vonnie, 24, full-time student from IA, mom of 3 girls, part time-sub-teacher, part-time-homeschooler. I was working 2 jobs, but I quit the first one, and can choose the second one and choose not to accept any calls in the month of November.

I have no idea what I'm writing about for NaNoWriMo. I'm going in it head first and not looking back. This will be my 4th attempt.

Hello, I'm L. Price . . . or at least that's what I've decided to use as my pen name, but my nano website sn is spoof82088 (in case you want to be writing buddies).

This will be my second time doing this and hopefully I will succeed again. My novel this year is a young adult drama/comedy (called Of a Feather) about two college students who meet in the psych ward and end up forming a powerful connection with some fun stuff happening on the side. I have an outline but it's not all set in stone.

Anyway, will stop rambling now . . . less than 26 hours 20 mins til nano on my side of the globe.
