nanowrimo_ljAS most of you know, tomorrow is the NIGHT OF WRITING DANGEROUSLY.
festivities kick off at 4pm EST with the pre-party and the main event, with sprints, starts at 5pm EST and ends at 11pm with the awards ceremony. We'll continue the night with the post party until around 2 am, so that makes for a long and AMAZING NIGHT.
I'm going to make you a guarantee. If you come and sprint, giving it your all, from 5 until 11, you are GUARANTEED a minimum of 6000 words added to your word count. Now tell me, who could use an additional 6,000 words? I could! How about you?
We're going to have games and prompts and all kinds of wild and crazy events, as well as teams!
Which brings us to the information below.
We'd like you to sign up for which team you want. We're going to (for the most part) let y'all pick what team you want. We have three teams:
Pirates
Ninjas
Dinosaurs
So if you feel a drawing towards one sprint or another, sign on up for your team! If you don't care, there's a spot for "Whatever" and we'll assign you to a team to even things up.
Now why are we doing teams? It's pretty simple: several challenges are going to be team based, pitting the various teams against each other, and it helps to keep the flow down in all the rooms! When you sign up, there's an information blurb below as to what room you're going to enter and tomorrow we'll post more information directing you in the right direction!
