So Close...

After talking to all my fellow Nanoers yesterday i hammered out nearly 5000 words toward winning nanowrimo. At 10:30 last night my daughter woke up, pitched a FIT! and guess who had to peel herself away from the best writing competition of the year?

This guy. With only 2600 words to go.

I am CRAZY bummed out about getting so close then having to stop. But it was for my daughter. Which made it well worth it.

Congratulations to you as well. Just having the courage to try to write 50K words in a month is a huge feat in itself. I hope you're daughter is doing better now. :)

thank you! and pbbbt she is fine. She just woke up hungry, and I breast feed, so i had to actually stop what i was doing to feed her, then the burping, then the changing . The whole time she was crying and flailing. I couldnt put it off. :(

Don't feel too bad...I ended my NaNo experience at 31k. I had been up since 3a the day before and I HAD to go to sleep at 9p because I had to work the next day. Sadly, those hours I was awake, I didn't spend them writing. Oh well. We'll get 'em next year!
