Greetings! It's me, Mel, one of your 'faithful' *cough cough cough* Nano Mods who just today realized it's nano time. Wowza. Well, I just wanted to let you know that Tami and I will be making posts here soon and getting things organized during October to make way for nano but until then, there is a fun and extra special new announcement I wanted to make.

We now have a facebook.

Announcements will go over there as well as general nano merriment and let's face it, a lot of us are on facebook far more than lj anymore, so here it is, join and have fun. For now it's basically unmoderated, but I'm just going to ask that no pictures get posted to it and follow the same guidelines you would here in this community when it comes to content.

Just sent a request! Is it going to remain an open group? Just asking because that means all posts we make (and possibly comments) will show up in our feed to all of our friends. I actually tend to avoid open groups for that reason.

Yeah, I just started my NaNo preparations in full today. Can't believe it's this close!

Looking forward to participating in the group (here and on FB - just sent a request) so excited that NaNo is so close! I did it all by myself last year and while I made it to the 50k, it would've been nice to have some other people around who were doing it too so I could share those "why am I doing this?" moments!

I'm actually EXCITED about my novel this year, been planning it since February honestly when I had this dream that just struck me as perfect for a novel.

I joined the group and hopefully will be able to comment and stuff if I'm not too bust trying not to drown in my main character and his desperation for me to start haha
