Sorry for the lax guys. Just... been a long week. And I don't got the fancy icons Mo's got :(

So it worked last week, and let's see if it can work again.

Today is Tuesday, November 13th.

Thanksgiving is 9 days away (AGHS!)

Christmas is 42 days away (holy hell...)

And NaNo? Ends in 17 days. (yikes!)

Today - you should be at least at 21,671.

... you can stop freaking out now. Because today? Today is challange day!

Like last week, if you're behind, whether it's 1K or 10K (like me), today I'm challanging you to MOVE YOUR BUTT AND MAKE IT UP!

In replies, I want those behind to post your wordcount. Don't be ashamed, in fact you'll find out you're so not alone. Then, every free minute you have, write. Just start going, and forget about looking back. Skip to sections you really want to write. Write porn if you must (just hide it at work under what you really should be doing). Hell, have your MC go off on an internal dialogue about his disgust for liver and brussel sprouts.

If you need plot help, you've got the post I just put up. There's resources on the sidebar of the journal layout.

Whatever it takes to get the words. Today is you day to do it. I know you can.

Alright folks... after reading and responding to a few people in this thread, I've come to notice that there is a large group of us who are behind in our word counts.

Don't worry, I'm SO included in this. Been a rough week.

So... here's my fun challange for the day.

Today is day 7. According to the stats, if you do 1,667 words a day, you should be around 11,669 today.

What I challange everyone today is this. If you are under that goal, reply with your Word Count. Then I want you all to find that time today to write. Forget about the 50K challange for today.

Today, your challange is to get to 11,700.

At the end of your day, come back to this post and reply to your own with your updated word count. See how far you could push yourself today. I'm going to be right along beside you.

And for those who are ahead of the game, feel free to come in and send people encouraging replies to keep them going.
